Dear Summer

A 2 piece collection dedicated to my favorite and warmest season of the year. Summer represents optimism, hope, and adventure. One of the best parts of summer is laying in the sand and meditating by the ocean — thus the birth of 2 abstract pieces that represent my love letters to the ocean.

Summer born and water as my element, any chance to be by the ocean brings me new perspectives, serenity, and the ability to recharge my energy. I painted these 2 pieces as a source of peace and a reminder that when seasons change, the summer will always bring back warmth. I used a flip-cup acrylic pouring technique to slightly blend the colors to create an ocean gradient and layered a white line of paint as waves in motion.
