Evolve is my 2nd collection and is a batch of small canvas pieces. I’ve been wanting to paint a collection that represents the journey of evolving and embracing self-transformation. Butterflies are my main source of inspiration because their transformation process is often seen as a metaphor for personal growth, inspiring hope and renewal during difficult times. They are majestic and vibrant, and bring positivity – which birthed my 2nd collection: Evolve / The Butterfly Garden series. This will be the first series as part of the Evolve collection.

This collection pushed me creatively. I wanted to experiment with more mixed media to encapsulate light and texture, allowing you to experience reflections and dimension no matter what angle you view the art. The fluid paint technique was a ring pour. It was the perfect form to capture the design of the abstract patterns on a butterflies wing.
